Is your home safe?
It is a very important part of our daily lives to keep our homes clean and germ free. We do all we can to keep our families protected from the bacteria that can cause illnesses by disinfecting the countertops, scrubbing the floors, bleaching those bad germs out of the bathtub and shower, not to mention the toys that the kids play with….bleaching them or spraying them with aerosol to make sure that all the bacteria and germs are gone so we do not pass around flu and colds.
What most of us are unaware of is that in the process of disinfecting and protecting our family from the common cold or the flu, we could be contributing to their asthma symptoms, allergies, ADD/ADHD, and (believe it or not) cancers, chronic fatigue, IBS, arthritis…and the list goes on.
Common household cleaners and cosmetics contain Formaldehyde, phenol, benzene, toluene, xylene, phosphates, ammonia, chlorine bleach, abrasives, and aerosol propellants. These chemicals can affect the immune system and they can cause cancer and also contribute to the pollution due to indoor air being considered 3-70 times more polluted than outdoor air as a result of the products in our home out-gassing. For more information on the effects on indoor pollution please look up the article by Dr. Joyce Woods Know Your ABC’S: Indoor Pollution.
Toxic chemicals can be found in the following products:
Household Cleaners
Laundry Soap
Hand Soap
Shampoo & Conditioner
Lotions (even baby lotion)
Make-up
Allergy Medicines
Pain Relievers
And more
As a mother of 4 children that attend the same schools as your kids and as a proud member of the Motivated Moms Team, I feel that it is my duty to inform other families of the possible harm that they can unknowingly be bringing onto their family and friends. I am simply trying to reach people and inform them that there are safer and healthier alternatives available for more economical prices and I have been blessed to be affiliated with such a company.
If you would like to know how to make a change then please contact me.

All we can do to help is make a change one person at a time. Do your part to make a change. Believe me, it feels great doing so.
Thanks
